Capital City Cruisers Mission Statement Our mission is to promote family
enjoyment and interest in restoration and preservation of collector
automobiles such as Antique Classic, Special Interest, Muscle Cars, Hot
Rods, Street Rods, and Modified Vehicles. And to host and conduct
car shows and fundraisers to benefit charitable organizations in the
Greater Sacramento Area and to have a lot of fun along the way! Capital City
Cruisers Looking Into Academic Scholarships For Cruiser Dependents The Capital City Cruisers are reviewing a program that would allow students of club members to apply for college scholarships. One scholarship would be awarded each year to one deserving student to help with their continuing education. The program is in the development stages and will be presented in the next few months.
Next Meeting Scheduled For Friday, November 21, 2008 Our
next meeting
will be Friday, November 21st at Joe Mitchell's business, QC Walls
(Corner of Tradecenter & Mercantile Drives in Rancho
Cordova). In addition to the meeting, we'll tour Joe's 4000
Square Foot "Muscle Car Showroom". Meeting starts at 6:00 PM and
pizza and soft drinks will be served.
Christmas
Party Coming December 13, 2008! The Capital City Cruisers annual Christmas Party is coming up December 13th and will be at the Orangevale Community Center in Orangevale on Hazel Avenue. Great food, great friends, and great fun for all! Make plans now to attend. Contact Snooze for more information. *Capital
City Cruisers Elect New Officers For 2009* Congratulations
to the new officers and directors for the 2009 year. Installed this
year were President- Gary Hunter; Secretary-Sue McAlister;
Treasurer-Sue Hunter; Marketing Director-Mike McAlister; Media
Director-Rex Roden; Awards Director-Jim Frasinetti; Chairman of the
Board-Rex Roden. The offices of Vice-President and Raffle Director will
be elected in November at our General Meeting. Once Again,
congratulations and thank you for your service.
